Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Silk and Chips SL ("GearReel", "we"), [registered address], Spain. By creating an account or using GearReel you accept them.

Your account

You must be at least 13 (16 in the EU without a parent's consent). Keep your email account secure; you are responsible for what happens under your GearReel account. One person, one personal account. Brand pages can only be managed by people authorised by the brand.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you post. By posting, you give GearReel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, adapt (for example resize or transcode), and share your content within GearReel, on gearreel.com and in links people share, and to promote GearReel. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared it or we must keep it by law.

Only post content you own or have permission to use, and that shows gear you have actually used or tested.

Community rules

Follow our Community Guidelines. In short: be honest, be respectful, no spam or hidden advertising, nothing illegal, hateful, sexual or dangerous, and no content that infringes other people's rights. Brands and paid partners must make clear when a post is sponsored.

Reviews and information

Posts are personal opinions of their authors, not GearReel's. Product information may be added by the community and may be incomplete or out of date. Always check details with the brand or retailer before buying.

Moderation

We may hide or remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put people at risk. Posts with several reports may be hidden automatically until we review them. If you think we made a mistake, write to support@gearreel.com.

Copyright

If you believe content on GearReel infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@gearreel.com with the content link, proof of your rights, and your contact details. We will remove infringing content and may close repeat infringers' accounts.

The service

GearReel is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and safe, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free or available. We may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to €100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end these terms if you seriously or repeatedly break them.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If you live in the EU you can also bring claims in your local courts.
